I’ve been using the Google Maps app for Android all wrong. For years I put in my destination and then went from one address to another using its built in navigational capabilities. Why is this wrong? Find out, along with what I did to make my Maps experience awesome.
After YouTube Go and Files Go, Google is now launching a new version of Google Maps for around 70 countries. The Google Maps Go app allows you to use most of the services that Google Maps offers, and the good news is that it won’t require many of your phones’ resources, such as data usage and battery life.
When searching for addresses in Google Maps, it’s a good idea to use both the Street View and the Live Map with your location. Until now, however, you had to constantly switch between the two features. Not any more! Thanks to a recent update, it is now possible to use Google Maps Live View and Street View in split-screen mode. Let’s see how it is done!
Google did not have the smoothest rollout for its “Driving Mode” feature, which was supposed to deliver the Android Auto experience on the smartphone.
