The agreement for Anta’s latest project as well as the dozens of ongoing projects in the footwear and apparel market make HAI ROBOTICS an established player in the industry.

SHENZHEN, China , Feb. 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — HAI ROBOTICS , a global leader in autonomous case handling robotic (ACR) systems for warehouse logistics, and Anta, the world’s number three leading sportswear brand, are set to open in southern China launch a new project in which autonomous robot manufacturer Anta’s state-of-the-art autonomous goods-to-person solution will help to cope with the increasing number of orders.

The new project, scheduled to start in April at Anta’s brand new warehouse in Foshan, Guangdong Province, is the third joint project by the two companies, marking HAI ROBOTICS’ continued success in warehouse automation, particularly in the footwear and apparel sector.

With HAI ROBOTICS’ ACR system, the nine meter high warehouse would achieve a much higher storage density and offer up to 30,240 locations, with daily throughput reaching 128,000 units.

As the official sponsor of the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, Anta is seeing a significant increase in inquiries, which is putting increasing pressure on warehouse logistics.

“Anta sees HAI ROBOTICS as an important long-term partner with whom we have shared ambitions in the field of smart warehousing,” said Chen Jiancong, general manager of logistics at Anta Group, at the group’s logistics partnership conference held Tuesday at the headquarters in Jinjiang in the southern Chinese province of Fujian.

HAI ROBOTICS, recognized as a global AI unicorn in the 2021 ranking by the Hurun Research Institute, has dozens of ongoing projects for leading footwear and apparel brands.

The company was named Best Strategic Supplier by Anta at Tuesday’s conference. This recognizes the efficiency that the ACR system has brought to the supply chain.

Continue on the road to success

HAI ROBOTICS’ ACR system was first deployed in April 2021 at the Anta warehouse in southwest China’s Chengdu , Sichuan Province.

With 25 customized HAIPICK robots picking and removing crates from racks to continuously equip the delivery staging systems, the storage density of the 5.7 meter high warehouse increased to a total of 27,600 spaces. It can now process up to 80,000 units of outbound orders per day.

The warehouse, previously overloaded with handling tens of thousands of SKUs with poor picking accuracy, now serves the needs of 1,200 stores with an outgoing volume of 60,000 pieces per week.

The enormous increase in efficiency prompted Anta to start a second warehouse automation project with HAI ROBOTICS just three months later.

A larger fleet of robots was stationed in its 3,500 square meter warehouse in Jinjiang . After the redesign of the 11-layer shelves in the 5.7 meter high warehouse, the project now offers around 20,000 storage locations. By using the workstation operated by HAIPORT, an automatic loading and unloading machine, the warehouse reached a daily output capacity of 200,000 items.
